March was filled with even more special little moments. For example, we went out to dinner and to Barnes & Noble for some playtime with Stacey, Allison and Finley. It was so cute to see Eliz and Allie on stage – Eliz playing a guitar (still in the box) and Allie dancing to the music.
On one snow day, we built an, eh, snow-woman? The snow is so dry we packed the bottom into a cone (or skirt), to stay standing.
On a sunny day, we took our bike out for a ride. Eliz is a little daredevil on her bike, so a helmet is a must on every ride now.
After our California trip, we spent one day indoors painting. Here was the artist at work.
And then she decided painting her hands wasn’t enough, nor her face, so she tried tasting the paint. Uggh.
On another snow day, we decided to try to make a snow cave. That didn’t go so well, so we converted it into a snow tunnel. That was awesome, and hung around for a long time we had it packed so hard.
Eliz helped Daddy.
And Mommy played.
We decided to take down Elizabeth’s crib on Easter. She stills rolls and spins a lot and had fallen out of bed a couple of times, so we thought upgrading her to a twin would help. For now it’ll stay on the floor until we know she’ll stop rolling out. Then we’ll look for a bed and/or bedroom set.
