Boys and Girls

On our run together yesterday, Elizabeth pointed out a dog and a “boy” on the trail.  Of course, the “boy” was a gentlemen some years older than me.  I thought it was funny though that she even said boy.  Then she started talking about boys and girls.  I asked her if she was a girl, and she said no she was a boy.  I asked her why she did she say she was a boy…and she said “Hunter is a boy, Garret is a boy, Logan is a boy, and Liam is a boy.”  All of her friends that she plays with in school are boys!

I felt the need to tell her that it was ok to play with boys and still be a girl!  Odd conversations we’ve been getting into…
