A Pot Luck Christmas Tree

When we went Christmas Tree shopping at a Lowes, we were disappointed to see that most of the trees were still bailed.  I can’t pick out a tree when it’s still tied up!  So we searched thru the choices and decided to cut the string on one tree that looked to be the perfect height.  And weren’t we surprised when the tree branches didn’t even budge after being freed!  It was frozen!

Realizing that all of the trees were in the same condition, we decided to just wing it.  It would be our first-ever pot luck Christmas Tree.  It was like buying one sight unseen.

But weren’t we LUCKY!  Here’s our beautiful tree.  Probably one of our best ones ever.  It’s a perfectly shaped Grand Fir.

Instead of a lighted-angel to top the tree, we chose what I call a “Woodland Santa” for our Colorado home.

Just in case I don’t get to say it…"Merry Christmas!” everyone.  And if you don’t celebrate Christmas….Happy Hanukkah!  Happy Holidays!
