Last night we went downtown to see the Denver Christmas Parade. I gotta say, it was nothing like watching the Ft Lauderdale Christmas Boat Parade. Oh sure, there were big crowds and lots of pretty lights but I don’t remember ever dressing like this…
Our feet still froze, but it was a nice night.
It was neat to see how the marching bands decorated themselves and their instruments with lights and garland…
Of course, there were well-lit floats…
And huge inflated balloons…this one almost couldn’t maneuver under the traffic light and around the corner. We all thought Rudolph was a goner. Pretty funny…lots of video cameras were whipped out for that event!
Who do you think got the crowds cheering loudest? The folks that followed behind the horses (and even dogs). You know the guys….with trash cans and shovels. They hammed it up for the crowds, too.
